LG V20 early users report fragile camera glass

As the LG V20 has hit the shelves now, we have started receiving reports from the early buyers. While there are some pros of the device, few V20 buyers have reported some issues though minor. One notable problem is the camera glass which appears to be slightly flimsy.

Users report that the glass on the LG V20’s camera smashes much too easily. According to a user, the glass on his camera shattered just from having the flashlight LED for a little long while another reported that the glass on the back of his device broke without any known reason. The users got the phone and the glass broke even though he did not drop it at all.

While testing the phone, the protective film on the back of the V20 was removed to test the glass scratch resistance. LG does not make use of sapphire glass on the V20. As a result, the glass scratched, but it did not happen just like that. But once it was scratched, the glass unexpectedly shattered within no time.

The glass breaking issue of LG V20 can without doubt be a serious concern for the LG fans. Apparently, there’s no reason you should not get the V20 considering some fragile glass. But the safe way is to leave the protective film on. The device ships with the film installed on the back of the camera and though it can be noticed it doesn’t affect pictures by any way. It is tough to remove so the best approach is to simply leave it on. So if you have already made up your mind to buy this phone, do not hesitate; just take this precautionary measure and enjoy your favorite smartphone.
