Google Duo 9 is now rolling out

Here is some great news for the fans of Google Duo. Google Duo version 9 is making its way to the Play Store now. The app packs support for the audio-only call feature. Although that feature was not to be released in Brazil, we have learnt now that it is rolling out worldwide. Amit Fulay from Google expressed on Twitter:

“Google Duo Audio calls is rolling out worldwide now.”

While we have got Google Duo 9 on our devices, we are not still able to see the feature to make audio-only calls. However, as is common in case of such features, it is likely to be available over many days. It means that you may not be able to see the feature even if you have installed Duo 9.

But we did find that Google Duo 9 has few new strings referring to the new audio-only calls that includes strings for introducing users to the feature and making it evident that it’s available.

You can get the Google Duo 9 APK over at APKMirror. But if you don’t want to bother you need to wait until the update is available for your device through the Google Play Store.
