The upcoming LG G6 has tons of things that would make you excited about this device. Ranging from its slim bezels to water resistance and Google Assistant, the LG G6 has much to offer to the users. But, it appears that there will be more to the device than what seems on the surface.
We have come across couple of new teasers of LG G6 that indicate that the device will have improved reliability, and improved resistance. LG highlights enhanced reliability on the LG G6. It may imply that the phone will have better protection from drops, or the end of the ‘bootloop plague’ that has been a problem for a long time with a number of LG flagships.

We’ve seen a bootloop problem on various LG devices over time such as LG G4, V10, V20, and more. The company has not been able to address this issue so far. With the LG G6, LG might just work on it and fix the problem which would make the phone more reliable.
Previously, LG has released a video that showing features we were expecting to see on the G6, but in addition to the teaser there was a mention of the concern of a cracked screen that displayed the quote “more reliable” with it. That might be a coincidence, but a stronger screen leads to a more reliable device at the same time. The company may choose to make use of stronger glass such as Gorilla Glass 5, extend a cheap replacement program or follow Lenovo/Motorola’s route with a ‘shatterproof’ display.
The probability of enriched drop protection is supported by another teaser which states that the LG G6 will “resist more, under pressure.” That might apply to the screen with ease, but it indicates even more at water resistance expected to come with the LG G6. It is possible that the company will have the G6 compliant with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. However, with this teaser, the company has probably pushed the limits ever so slightly.
There’s much to be seen still with the LG G6. LGs continued teasers get us excited every time about what we are going to get in this device. For now we just hope that the phone is released on its promised date that is February 26th at MWC.
