Google Maps now make it easier to navigate to your meetings

Google has announced an interesting update. Your events will now show up in Maps. Google Maps is getting tighter assimilation with your Android calendar and thus offering this wonderful new feature.

All you need to do is to open up the side/hamburger menu and tap on ‘Your Places’. Then, choose the ‘upcoming’ tab to see directions for places you plan to travel. That is all.

At the moment, it is tiny and not very prominent, but it would be better if Google Maps automatically suggested places based on forthcoming events.

While this update will roll out on Android across the globe today, we have no clue when this new feature of Google Maps will be available on other platforms.
