Become a Storyteller with Google’s Toontastic 3D App
January 13, 2017
The word ‘google-y’ rings various bells in the mind including stuff such as indubitably and creativity. Interestingly, it is creativity that is at the heart of Google’s “Toontastic 3D” app. This app was just launched today on both iOS and Android and as it has something great to offer, you must explore it...
A storytelling toolkit, Toontastic 3D is an app by Google that is fundamentally designed for kids. It makes use of simple mechanics in order to create a story by yourself. All you need to do is to decide the length of the story, select a background, and characters for your tale.
The next step is to start animating your characters. Then you need to add voiceovers and play with the background to tell your story. Drawing your self-made characters or using your own face include some other striking features of this app by Google. The company will add some more interesting stuff in the future.
Kids can draw, animate and narrate their own adventures, news stories, school reports, and anything else they might dream up. All they need to do is move characters around on the screen and tell their story. It’s like a digital puppet theater… but with enormous interactive 3D worlds, dozens of customizable characters, 3D drawing tools, and an idea lab with sample stories to inspire new creations.
Google expressed about the app.
If you wish to check out the Toontastic 3D you can download it from the Google Play Store now. Enjoy!
