ASUS to release a Snapdragon 835-powered device at CES
While we have an idea that ASUS has plans to launch a 1-2 smartphones at CES, recently before its scheduled press event, the firm has released a tweet signifying that at least one phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835.

Other than this little information, we don’t really know what ASUS has in its sack for now. But we are certain that there will be a “ZenFone AR” handset announced that includes Google Tango hardware. In addition, there is also buzz about the likelihood that the firm could already be ready to reveal its ZenFone 4. No matter how things turn out to be, it appears the Asus has couple of devices to present the world with.

The tweet by the company doesn’t call out the Snapdragon 835 in particular. However it appears likely that if ASUS is pushing up the “world’s best” Qualcomm-made chip, it is talking about the new one. The Snapdragon 835 was concisely announced together with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 earlier this year. The recently-leaked SoC, on the other hand, is likely to make its debut at CES.
