Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo’s president, has announced that the firm is to launch 2-3 mobile games a year. Fire Emblem Heroes is to make its way to iPhone and iPad tomorrow while Animal Crossing may be released after April onwards. We may see another game this year but not for sure.
For now, Nintendo is not making any comment about it. So we are not clear as to which games might be in the pipeline for the transition to mobile. The company seems busier on the console games front. According to reports, as many as 70 developers are working on 100 titles for its Switch console, which is expected to release in March.
