Evidently, Instagram is one of the most famous and extensively used program right now and it carry forward to boost by designing another update who's main objective is to develop anti harassment and decline the incidents of cyberbullying.
It is a major fact that bullying does not importantly need visible interaction to be done. As this era is of technological advancement so through social media bullying can be happened online.
Which increased threats for people to create an update for anti harassment online.
While using instagram, cyberbullying normally takes place in comment section when a person post a picture of himself. Cyberbullying attack can change into the bashing session which can destroy one's whole day.
A report of Washington post shows that instagram will give specific rights to its users to filter the comments which means user can accept or reject the comments and can turn off the comments completely. For lessen Cyber Bullying and anti harassment features instagram will allow its users to create a personalised list of banned words.
Second update which instagram is featuring for its users (to prevent cyberbullying) is availability for an option to disable photo comment. This feature can be used for a single photo basis, which make it easier for the users to screen bashers and bullies. By this time instagram also has its own filters for unpleasant comments but it will be a good choice for users to create their own specific list for the banned words.
Important point for users is that above feature initially will only available for high volume users and later on in coming months it will be available to all users step by step. The goal of launching above update is to make instagram friendly and a safe place for self expression.
