Yes, you must thank iOS 10 and macOS Sierra that has now made it possible to use Apple Pay on the web through Safari. Previously, Apple Pay was not available on the Mac and you had to make use of apps in order use it on the iPhone and iPad. To use Apple Pay on the web, you need to set up Apple Pay on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.
On Iphone/Ipad
To set up Apple Pay on the iPhone or iPad, you need to go to Settings. Then look for Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card.
On Apple Watch
To set up Apple Pay on the Apple Watch (Mac), you need to go to Watch. Then tap Wallet & Apple Pay. Lastly, you have to choose Add Credit or Debit Card using your iPhone.
Using Apple Pay on the web
When the setup process is complete, you can look for the Apple Pay button at checkout from supported sites. Safari on your Mac will ask you to accept the purchase on your Apple Watch by double-clicking the button on the side. On the other hand, Safari on your iPhone or iPad needs your fingerprint with the help of Touch ID. Shipping information can also be verified from this screen.
Payment options/verification process
For payment option, you need to click Apple Pay and verify the billing and shipping information from your Mac. Then you will be requested to complete the operation by confirming Apple Pay as your method of payment from your Apple Watch. Next, on your Apple Watch, you need to double-click the side button to verify the payment. As an option, you can tap your default debit or credit card to switch to a different debit or credit card to use with Apple Pay.
The checkout procedure confirms when the payment is received as normal back on the Mac. On the iPad, you don’t need an Apple Watch to validate.
