According to Samsung, it has got 26 false reports of Note 7s catching fire from various parts of the world.
Here is something really weird. Something strange has taken place in the midst of exchanging recalled Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. Samsung, the world’s leading smartphone manufacturer, has seemingly run into some cases where users made false claims. Since the recall started, Samsung received as many as 26 false exploding reports of Note 7 phones.
According to the report, 12 cases involved phones that had no problems at all while 7 with customers beyond reach and 7 more coming from users who cancelled the exchange.
False reports from across the planet
Interestingly, all these false reports came from across the world. From the U.S alone, there were as many as 9 cases and 4 were reported in South Korea. In addition, 2 cases were received in France. There were reports from countries such as Canada, UK, Turkey, Singapore, Philippines and UAE. In addition, 3 cases were particularly highlighted in the report as well.
Make the most of Samsung’s Exchange Program
Considering that Samsung’s exchange program for the Note 7 is now available, users who actually have had such issues or any other problem with the device should submit exploding reports and get in touch with Samsung and get their units replaced with confidence.
