LG G6 to switch removable battery
For the past couple of years, LG has been one of the few remaining manufacturers that allow removable batteries still be in its devices including the LG G5 and LG V20. In the G5, it was build quality as the modular system made the device appear to be a little cheap while in case of the V20, the removable battery implied no water-proofing. Now it appears that the company is going to seal the battery of LG G6 inside in exchange for water resistance.

Other than water resistance, it would surely help out LG with regard to competing with Samsung. Particularly, considering LG is holding on to older processing power with the Snapdragon 821. We got to know about it few days back but now the latest reports confirms that news further.

However, the most notable news out of LG’s report is that Google Assistant will come pre-loaded on the G6. Other than the Pixel and Pixel XL phones, this would be the first device phone to ship with Assistant if the reports proves to be true. And it will also be the first device to have two different assistants. LG has a strong relationship with Amazon and aims to include Alexa on the LG G6, but didn’t think that the assistant was ready for now. Seemingly, Alexa may get on LG phones later in 2017.
