The text of the invitation is as follows:
Small and Medium Businesses are the backbone of the Indian economy and are powering the next wave of the country’s growth. At Google, we are excited about partnering with businesses to help them unlock exponential growth through the power of digital. We invite you to join Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and other senior leaders from Google as they shine spot light on how digital can be a game changer for Indian SMBs.
The announcement basically revolves around small and medium businesses that for Google may imply a type of message about its cloud and enterprise services which has been rebranded as G Suite. It is also expected that Pichai will have some announcements on the consumer side as well.
Google improved its focus on India recently. It brought the first wave of free high-speed public WiFi to a number of train stations across India. The company also announced sometime back that its public WiFi service covers more than 100 railway stations throughout the country. In addition, it has been pushing Allo and Duo (its new messaging apps) in India as well. Let us wait and see which other developments Google will be introducing here in future…
