The much awaited messaging app expected to be launched this September
Google is all geared up to launch its next big hit app this September. Yes it is Google Allo. After introducing Duo to the world recently, Google is busy preparing to make its next big messaging app public. Though it claims that the app will soon be available, we cannot completely trust the word. Why? Well, Google has made such an assurance in the past as well and given deadline which it was not actually able to meet.
While it was decided earlier on that Allo would be launched together with Duo at Google I/O 2016, it actually didn’t happen. This eagerly anticipated messaging app is still not out and the world is all eyes to get their hands on this innovative app from the tech giant.
According to Google, back at the time of the pronouncement, Allo would be released during the summer. But now with leaves falling and the sky turning orange, Google is still unable to fulfill its promise.
Remember, this app is not to act as a replacement to Hangouts. It is rather as a new standalone messaging app. Having deep integration with Google Assistant, it has an array of other features that make this app one of a kind. Voice messages, sticker packs, integrated GIF search, end-to-end encryption and more, Google's Allo has much to offer. BUT when will we be able to taste the flavor of all these spices? Keep your fingers crossed!
