bcTester 4.9 is a freeware software for barcode reading (linear and 2 dimensional) on digital images captured by scanning or photographing. A lot of input formats are supported e.g. BMP GIF PNG TIFF JPG. Version 4.9 reads barcodes from Adobe PDF-Files as well. All common barcode types are recognized e. g. 2 of 5 familiy code 39 code 93 codabar code128 ean ucc and upc GS1 DataBar (POS) patchcodes 2-state and 4-state Post Codes like PostNet Royal Mail USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB). bcTester decodes 2D bar codes Aztec Data Matrix QR Code and PDF 417.
