Google says a bug caused the removal of Palestine label from its maps

In a recent google maps update it was found that people can no longer see Palestine label on its maps that caused backlash from the people around the word.

Google representative replied to that as "that they actually never had that Palestine label in past and this is only a glitch which removed Gaza And West Strip labels from its maps." People have shown their anger/support in their tweets.

No matter how much you zoom in, can't find Palestine anymore in the google maps. They decided to remove the country, shame! #PalestineIsHere

I see people sharing "Palestine was erased from Google Map". Sorry to break it to you but Palestine was never on Google Map. AFAIK
