Nougat beta rolling out update for Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 edge

Sometime back Samsung announced the Galaxy Beta Program that enables users with the Galaxy S7 or S7 edge to beta test the forthcoming launch of Nougat. During the last month we have witnessed a number of updates roll out to the handsets that fixed bugs in addition to bringing additional Nougat features to the devices. Now we are getting reports that a 4th major update is showing up for those in the beta program.

ZPLH is the new build of Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. It comes a number of bug improvements, enhancements to the phone’s performance, new and/or improved features, in addition to the removal of the Samsung Notes app that was introduced in an initial beta update.

The image here shows the update screen for the latest launch of Nougat for the Galaxy phones. However, in case you have not joined the beta program so far, Samsung did close the registration. As these beta updates continue to mostly just include small bug fixes, we will come across a final Nougat build and firmware update for all S7 and S7 edge phones very soon.
