Firefox can now help you save your time and multitask with its brand new feature. It is now offering a fantastic feature: text to be read aloud which means that Reader Mode will narrate that article and you can continue browsing the web without disturbances.
If you already use Firefox, you will have a fair idea that the Reader Mode helps you remove irrelevant clutter such as ads, buttons, ads etc. from a page. It transforms the text size of a page as well and makes it more reader-friendly. With the latest upgrade, Mozilla is offering additional customization for this mode. Now you will also be able to adjust the voice for narration in addition to fonts and sizes.
This development was made after Firefox began introducing its most significant update in its history, adding multiprocess abilities which is meant to make the browser more responsive. As a result, a 400 percent improvement was achieved in responsiveness in Mozilla's internal tests.
Now, Mozilla is extending support to a "small set" of add-ons to bring this multiprocess experience to all its users the coming year.
At the same time, it is also going to introduce a useful feature to the Android version of its browser - the ability to see formerly viewed pages offline. How you will be able to benefit from this feature depends on the specs of your phone.
