The design of the new phone is one of its most extraordinary features that is drawing the attention of all. It is the front panels that are more bezel-free which makes this device from Lenovo pretty attractive. That is why after other OEMs, the company has focused on making the 5.5-inch, 2D-curved Full HD display of the Edge as much as 86.4% of the whole phone’s front, which is great for sure.
In order to power the phone, Zuk went to the top and picked Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 821 SoC, backed by 4 or 6GB of RAM and a 3100mAh battery, with Quick Charge 3.0 support via the USB-C port.
The camera of device is great as well, with a 13MP shooter on the back and an 8MP one on the front. There is a fingerprint scanner that Zuk claims to be able to read fingerprints in as little as 0.09 seconds.
But the sad part is that when it comes to availability, considering there’s no word about a possible release for countries besides China, where the phone retails for 2299 CNY or 2499 CNY for the 6GB model. Shipping will start January 1st in Titanium Black as well as Ceramic White.
In addition to Android Nougat out of the box other than its exciting design and specsheet, we would hope to see a phone like this would hit Europe and the US at the least. However, for now we can just hope.
